Code Workbench

Code Workbench replaces the Theme File Editor and the Plugin File Editor with a full code editor built on Code - OSS, the open-source project behind Visual Studio Code. Pick a theme or a plugin from the usual menu and the editor opens on its folder only, with file explorer, tabs, Quick Open and search across all its files. PHP files are checked before they are saved, so a typo cannot lock you out of your site. The editor ships inside the plugin: it downloads nothing and contacts no external service.
